Donate to the Education Foundation Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship Fund supports women of Orillia who plan to pursue post-secondary education. Since 1955 we have awarded $485,475 in scholarships to 807 women pursuing post-secondary education. The application process considers academic achievements as well as community and school involvement.

In June, 2025, 26 women from Patrick Fogarty Secondary School, Orillia Secondary School, Twin Lakes Secondary School, and Ecole Nouvelle Alliance were granted a scholarship ranging from $750 to $2,300 for a total of $41,000.

This year’s deserving students met the criteria of Academic Ability, Integrity, Love of Learning, Leadership, and School and Community Involvement. We wish these amazing young women every success in the future.

Scholarship funds provided to students have been primarily raised through the annual CFUW Orillia Homes for Scholarships Tour.

All money that is donated goes directly to the CFUW Orillia Education Foundation, the charitable arm of CFUW Orillia, which disburses these scholarships to women in the Orillia area who are pursuing post-secondary education.
